About Us

The Idaho Public Purchasing Association was chartered (Charter Number 18) by NIGP (The Institute for Public Procurement) on July 21, 2004. Frank Pierce, CPPB, CPPO and Diane Morrison, CPPB helped to bring this charter to Boise. Rick Grimm, CEO of NIGP came to Boise to present the charter and swear in the new officers.  Frank was the very 1st IPPA President.

IPPA is the only NIGP Chapter in Idaho and serves all of Idaho for chapter membership, training, education, and sponsored events. If government procurement is your profession, or if you have an interest in procurement then IPPA is for you!

The Board of IPPA is committed to enriching the procurement profession. Many of our Board members have spent numerous years in the profession and work proactively to ensure our members and those that work in governmental procurement have the skills and knowledge to be the very best at what they do. The Board is readily available to answer any questions, or help in any way to support this profession. Please contact us at ippa@nigp-ippa.org.

Recently, IPPA was honored at the 2017 NIGP Annual Forum with the Small Chapter of the Year Award! Feel free to check out our Small Chapter of the Year submission to see what we accomplished as a chapter in 2016.
